President Message
Message from the President:
In today’s socio/economic environment, it is even more important for us to be positive role models for the kids of our communities. There is not a better time for us to demonstrate Leadership in all phases of our programs of Education, Mentoring, Economic Development, and Health and Wellness. The disparities between the kids in our communities and the general public continue to grow.To aid in addressing those disparities, we must engage all stakeholders to develop ways to identify, address, and create sustainable solutions in all of our communities.Internally, we must grow our organization, through active recruitment of dedicated volunteers, and reclaim members. If we can successfully accomplish this we will be able to create and take advantage of opportunities to aid the youth of our communities. Now is the time for all of us to be the role models to teach the youth the importance of education, and what an education can do for them. Why living a healthy life, can provide longevity in a number of ways. Our kids need to understand it can no longer just be about saving money, but wealth creation.
As President Obama stated, “now is not the time for panic, now is not the time for fear; now is the time for resolve and steady leadership”.We must meet this challenge….. And we will!
